Her commitment to evidence-based practice led her to pursue an MSc in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Aberystwyth, deepening her understanding of how veterinary science and sustainable farming principles can be integrated. She’s also co-author of The Veterinary Book for Beef Farmers, sharing practical knowledge with the farming community.

In 2021, Lee-Anne founded The Fold Farm Vets as an independent, farm-only practice serving 300 predominantly beef and sheep clients across Northumberland and Durham. Working closely with the same clients over many years, she’s witnessed firsthand how farms that move away from chemical and mechanical dependency often become more profitable and resilient.

This experience inspired her to establish Ruminant Revival – a way to reach more farmers who want to challenge conventional approaches and transition toward more resilient, ecologically integrated systems. Lee-Anne believes farming can be both profitable and sustainable when guided by veterinary science, careful observation, and respect for natural processes.

Her vision is simple: to help farmers take pride in their work, improve their quality of life, and build businesses fit for future challenges.
