Ali Haggerty is a Glasgow Vet School graduate with over 15 years of clinical experience. She holds RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in Cattle Health and Production, underpinned by a research Masters focused on colostrum quality and failure of passive transfer in Scottish dairy calves. Ali has since gone on to publish further on the subject of colostrum and neonatal ruminants in peer-reviewed journals and to present her work at international conferences, including the World Association for Buiatrics.
At Ruminant Revival, Ali brings a data-driven, real-life approach to herd and flock health. Her passion for ruminant youngstock systems lies in using on-farm evidence and data to help producers make informed, practical changes that improve health outcomes and reduce dependence on reactive pharmaceuticals. Her approach isn’t about quick fixes. She believes veterinary medicine has a critical role in sustainable farming systems by shifting toward proactive inputs – better colostrum management, smarter housing, targeted nutrition, and empowering good stockmanship. Ali works side-by-side with producers to deliver practical, step-by-step change that lasts.
