About GB Calf Week

Great British Calf Week is a coordinated cross‑industry initiative led by AHDB, the NFU, and Innovation for Agriculture. It marks the launch of the GB Calf Strategy 2025–2030 on 10th September and unfolds through themed events over the following week (11th – 18th  September), focusing on sharing data and knowledge to benefit calf rearing and genetics.

The theme of calf week this year was data and knowledge exchange: how using data can help inform decisions on farm and within the supply chain.
